STAR SHOW !
They're calling it a once in a generation opportunity to see a spectacular sky show. It all happens when the Earth passes through the Leonid Meteor Stream. The date will be around November 17th.

BUY ONE GET ONE !
How do you spur the economy in Japan, now in an economic downturn? Gift Certificates !That's one idea being bandied about by government types. Giving every person in Japan a $300 gift certificate. IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE...
It probably is, but those wanted by the law aren't always brain surgeons. Brattleboro, Vermont law enforcement officials captured a number of fugitives by sending out notices that read "Congratulations ! You've won a free car stereo from Liquidators Express". As you can imagine the FREE stuff included a ride to jail for the people wanted on outstanding warrants.

CHEESHEADS CLOTHS BAN
Packers fans who work for the county in Appleton Wisconsin have been prohibited from wearing Packers Clothing while on the job. Disgruntled workers say it hurts morale and are protesting and some are still wearing their green and gold just without the Packers logo.
