IN CASE YOU WERE WORRIED
Rachel Stanley, costume designer for Ally McBeal says that Calista Flockheart's
hemline will be rising by a full inch during the new season. The rising hemiline will also
become an issue on the Oct 19th episode and the shorter hemline's appropriateness in
court.
BETTER SWIM FASTER
A swim instructer in Australia's Northern Territory ihas come up with a unique way
to get the most out of his charges. Swimming coach Mark Davies waits until his students
are in the pool and off and swimming then releases a crocodile after them. He says he
times them to make sure that the croc can never really catch up.
EARLY RISER ?
You may be a mutant :) Those who have a tendancy to be early risers may have a
mutation in the CLOCK gene that egulates whether we are morning or night people. That
according to a University of California - Irvine researcher.
MONICA MONEY ?
A substitute teacher in Charlotte, NC was fired after handing out "sex
dollar" bills as prizes during class. The "bills" parodied "Bill and
Monica's affair".
WALMART BRAWL
A New Jersey Walmart became the scene of fist fights as adults and kids alike began
fighting during a balloon drop. The drop was part of a promotional event that got out of
hand as those involved scrambled for the prizes inside the balloons. Seven kids and one
adult had to be sent to the hospital for treatment.

The 80's fe,ale pop group will be featured in a new film that will focus on their

SNOOPY FEVER !
It's the hong Kong version of Beanie Babies. Fights, long lines a black market are
all part of McDonald's campaign in the Chinese province. Hong Kong resident's have been
lining up to buy one of the 28 Snoopy's each dressed in a costume of a different
country. On the Black market some have been going as high as $26.
