MICKEY MOUSE IS SAFE
Disney led a fight to extend the length of time that Corporations can keep a copyright.
The mega company couldve lost the copyright to Mickey Mouse in 2003 if not for the new
copyright legislation passed by the US Congress. It extends copyrights by 20 years for
corporations and individuals.
FANTASY DATE:
Playboy ran a survey of men. Age determined who was the dream date:
Men in 20's: Pamlela Anderson...In 30's: Sandra Bullock...In 40's: Demi Moore.
In the same survey men said they fantasize more about money than they do sex: (yeah
right)....61% said family was the most important thing. 50% said they rather have more
time off than a big [ay raise and 50% said the number one success symbol was home
ownership.
GREAT ACTING
Riley Weston got a job as a writer for WB's "Felicity". She told them she was 18
and they thought she could relate to the show's character. The buzz started going around
Hollywood about this new wonder kid writer. She got a $500,000 deal as a script writer for
Disney/Touchstone then it's revealed she's actually 32. Disney is investigating.
VIAGRA UPDATE:
The little blue pill has gone on sale in France ruffling the feathers of some Francophiles
who believe it tarnishes France's image as the romance capitol of the world.
TITANIC MARRIAGE
Kate Winslet (23) will be getting married next summer to Director Jim Threapleton. They
met while she was filming "Hideous Kinky".
CHEERS ! TED DANSON'S BACK
"Becker" is the name of his new sitcom about a brillant, caustic Bronx Doctor.
He replaces the already canceled Brian Benben Show on CBS, debuting November 2nd in the
9:30pm ET time slot. 96-97 his INK sitcom failed.
