HOW DO YOU SPELL VOCABULARY?
British education officials sent out their Literacy posters with TWO glaring spelling mistakes on them. Vocabulary was misspelled and "though" was used where "through" should have been. The 48,000 posters were returned and reprinted with corrections.

SUPER BOWL PROMOTION IN NASHVILLE
Music City 103.3 FM caused some problems in Nashville when they armed a motorcycle cop with a pair of tickets to Super bowl 34 and promoted that they were FREE for the asking to the first listener. It turned into a free for all with people chasing down officers in cruisers. Worst part, most of the cops didn't have a clue what was going on. Station officials have had to step back and punt:)

SPEEDIER FAST FOOD (another sign the world is ending)
Orange County commuters will be able to literally drive through and pick up there Big Macs at five McDonalds in the county without paying on the spot. Instead they will utilize the same technology that allows commuters to go through express toll booths without stopping. There's a signal in the antennae that will automatically calculate what the car ordered then bill the customer, thereby shortening their wait from the interminable 131 seconds to closer to 11 seconds at the drive through.

After DAVID LETTERMAN had to undergo quintuple by-pass surgery Ostrich growers say he should eat healthier and they want him as a spokesperson. The American Ostrich Association is offering Letterman a year's supply of ostrich meat and cooking lessons.
