American Greeting has a listing they want people to vote on. They're even
offering a $1 Million bounty to one visitor to the site. Included are
Jewell, Daisy Fuentes, Steve Young, Billy Ray Cyrus and others. Each vote
counts as a donation to the chosen star's charity.
ONE FRIEND SAYS SHE'S
STAYING
Courtney Cox Arquette says she's planning on being a part of a 7th season
of FRIENDS> There have been rumours that the show would NOT return.
Courtney told Brtissh TV Times ``Right now we are all very happy with the
way the public are responding.''
SUBVERSIVE CARTOONS
Chinese authorities have dumped the dangerous Cartoon Network from Chinese
TV. The Time/ Warner network programming has been barred and executives
say they were not given a reason. A Chinese spokesman said: ``Their
actions violated relevant Chinese rules''. Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo and
other now banned actors could not be reached for comment at press time.
ALANIS MORRISETTE
HONORED
The Canadian born performer is
up for FIVE Juno awards the Canadian version of The Grammy. Bryan
Adams, Celine Dion and Amanda Marshal are also up for awards and Sarah
McLachlan will be honored with The International Achievement Award.

FOX AND CBS DIVERSITY
The two Networks have announced plans to appoint Diversity Executives who
will in charge of hiring more minorities and getting more minority
programming on the air. NBC and ABC have already announced their diversity
plans.
WWF FOOTBALL
The World Wrestling Federation has announced plans for a Pro Football
League. Teams will initially be based in Los Angeles, Miami, New York,
Orlando, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. Two additional teams are to
be announced later. The XFL is schedule for kickoff in February 2001 with
a 10 game season and playoffs.
LETTERMAN BACK FOR THE
SWEEPS?
Looks like the Late Night host may be on CBS by February 14th. Dave
visitedthe office for 2 hours and staffers say he looked and seemed like
he always does.
WHITNEY IN NEW FILM
She's signed with WILL SMITH'S movie production company Overbrook
Entertainment to star in the French thriller Diva, which portrays
an African-American opera singer who refused to allow her voice to be
recorded.
MADONNA'S FOLLOWUP
She's working on her next musical project after Ray Of Light with French
songwriter-producer Mirwals. "It's going to be different".
Mirwals has extensive experience in electronica in Europe.

NAOMI CAMPBELL GETS OFF
The Super Model plead guilty to assault charges and had them discharged in
Canada for an assault on a former assistant. That means she won't have a
criminal record. The assistant and Campbell reached and out of court
settlement in a civil suit for over $1 Million according to some published
reports.
