A POLITICALLY CORRECT STAR
WARS
George Lucas and company stung by criticism that characters in THE PHANTOM
MENACE reinforced stereotypes say they're go for cultural diversity in the
next Star Wars film. But we in the AudioPros editorial room don't think
they're quite getting the message. Here's what they're proposing: A
Native American character, said to have a forceful, spiritual nature; an
Indian or Hispanic character; and an Asian character, possibly trained in
martial arts. (Maybe the hispanic guy will be driving a low rider and the
Indian will be a Ghandi follower...hmmm)
NAJIMY OUT OF THE CLOSET
The Veronica's Closet co-star, Kathy Najimy, has decided to depart
the show. She's leaving at the end of the season to go for that feature
film career.

friend. This Sunday night watch the show. One of the contestants who will
be on has chosen her and you can bet producers won't let that opportunity
slip by.

A Brill Content poll found the following:

THE COMEDY AWARDS ARE
SUNDAY NIGHT
Look for them to air March 23 on Fox. Nominations were culled from surveys

achievement award.
