MUSICAL HISTORY
The small upright piano that JOHN LENNON composed Imagine on will be on
the virtual auction block in July @ eoffer.com. The Steinway Z is expected
to bring in at least $2 Million and has been insured for $4.8 Million.
Steinway has authenticated the piano (serial no. 417139) and film footage
from 1971 (Gimme some truth)shows Lennon at its keys composing
''Imagine.''
LENNON IRA SUPPORTER?
Meanwhile a former British Intelligence agent is saying that Lennon
financially supported the IRA in the early 70's something that seems at
odds with his pacifist message he spread so often during that period.
Biographer Hunter Davis said; ``I wouldn't be at all surprised if he gave
money to the IRA, John liked stirring it up. He was very generous and
spontaneous.''
ER BETTER WITHOUT CLOONEY
That's what the former star of television's premier drama is telling
Britain's Sun newspaper. He says it was the best thing to happen to him
and the show. Leaving that is. It's offered him new career possibilities
and the show new story line possibilities.

THE LUXURIOUS MIR
HOTEL
A group of investors has ponied up $20 million in a deal to rent Mir and
turn the aging space station into an out-of-this-world holiday spot and
commercial laboratory. The risky venture begins with a March mission to
the defunct space station to "kick the tires and slam the doors"
MirCorp says they'll charge visitors $20 Million to take the trip. (our

LETTERMAN BACK MONDAY NIGHT
The Late Show host recovering from a quintuple bypass will bring out the
Doctors and nurses who treated him. Bill Cosby and Regis Lee will appear
in scrubs on the show and continue to fill in until he's fully recovered
