WHO WANTS TO DIVORCE A
MULTI MILLIONAIRE?
Careful what you wish for. Fame has a definite price. Ask Rick Rockwell
the groom on Who Wants to Marry a Multi-millionaire. In 1991 he had a
restraining order filed against him by a woman who claims he hit and
abused her. This on top of "rumours" that he really didn't have
all of that money he supposedly had. Rockwell returned from his honeymoon
in the Caribbean alone over the weekend and now FOX has dropped plans to
re-broadcast the highly criticized show Tuesday night.

MILLIONAIRE TOO...
Regis Philbin wants a raise. The highly successful nature of the ABC game
show has Regis asking for more bucks. "How's
your little quiz show doing?'' Letterman asked Philbin, one of his guests
on the show that aired Monday. "Are you making a lot of
dough?''"No, I'm not,'' Philbin replied."Those pantywaists at
ABC are not paying you what you're worth?'' Letterman said.
JOHN LENNON FBI FILES
A judge ordered the FBI to release notes from a phone conversation and two
letters. The files had been held secret at the request of a
"foreign" government. The suit was filed by the ACLU and author
John Wiener. The FBI held files on Lennon because of his very public
opposition to the Vietnam War. Meanwhile Yoko Ono denied that Lennon ever
donated funds to the IRA during the early 70's.

ELIAN GONZALES THE TV MOVIE
CBS has already commissioned a top Television screenwriter to pen a story
about the little Cuban boy at the center of a political controversy, all
with out the consent of the family of the boy, though they say it will be
an unbiased portrayal.

MILLION DOLLARS
MTV will play back the 25 most viewed videos this Saturday 2/26. Peter
Gabrial, Run DMC, Aerosmith and Dire Straits. One person will win the
million in a call in contest. It starts at 3pm ET. The network signed on
Aug. 1st, 1981
BALIR WITCH AIN'T WELCOME
A small but vocal group of residents of Burkettsville MAryland has made it
clear they don't want the sequel and prequel to the quirky film, filmed in
their town. So, producers will shoot the scenes intended for the town in
other Maryland communities.

SANTANA SUES
The musician and his record company ARISTA records are suing the Mondrian
hotel's Skybar and the Pedro Zamora Foundation for using his name without
permission in the "Santana - Grammy Party Honoring Carlos Santana -
Skybar at Mondrian". The event is a fund raiser for AIDS awareness.

Brian Wilson is putting down reports that he and Paul McCartney would be
teaming up on a project, though he does say he plans on a live CD and a
new studio recording in the next year.

MINDY MCCREADY COUNTRY FUN
A few years back the budding singer and her mom were getting set for a
cruise out of Miami when Mindy filled out the paperwork: "They looked
at my form. It read, 'Name: Mindy McCready. Age: 15. Occupation: Singer.
Sex: Not yet!' "

Everybody who has a dog calls him "Rover" or "Boy." I call mine Sex.
Now Sex has been very embarrassing to me. When I went to City Hall to
renew his dog license, I told the clerk I would like to have a license
for Sex. He said, "I'd like to have one, too." Then I said, "But this is a
dog!" He said he didn't care what she looked like. Then I said, "But
you don't understand. I've had Sex since I was nine years old." He said I
must have been quite a kid.
When I got married and went on my honeymoon, I took the dog with me. I
told the motel clerk that I wanted a room for my wife and me and a
special room for Sex. He said every room in the place was for sex. I said,
"You don't understand. Sex keeps me awake at night!" The clerk said, "Me
too."
One day I entered Sex in a contest, but before the competition began,
the dog ran away. Another contestant asked me why I was just standing
there looking around. I told him I had planned to have Sex in the contest.
He told me I should have sold my own tickets. "But you don't understand,"
I said, "I had hoped to have Sex on TV." He called me a showoff.
When my wife and I separated, we went to court to fight custody of the
dog. I said, "Your honor, I had Sex before I was married." The judge
said, "Me too." Then I told him that after I was married, Sex left me. He
said, "Me too."
Last night Sex ran off again. I spent hours looking around town for
him. A cop came over to me and asked, "What are you doing in this alley at
4:00 in the morning?" I said, "I'm looking for Sex."
My case comes up Friday.
