iCRAVETV SHUT DOWN
The Internet's first broadcast TV website has agreed to stop broadcasting
copyrighted U.S. and Canadian television shows via the Internet, settling
lawsuits in the United States and Canada.. The Canadian based company was
broadcasting TV shows on the web.
SO YA WANT TO BE A 10
MILLION YENNAIRE
Japan's Fuji company has purchased the rights to bring a Japanese version
of the popular game show to the islands. The show originated in Britain
and became wildly popular in the US and now it moves to Japan with a top
prize of 10 Million Yen. ($90,000) Tough laws limit game show prizes.
ANOTHER HONOR FOR CARLOS
The Santana grammy winner will be honored by his hometown of Autlan de
Navarro, Mexico by building him a town square, a statue, and placing his
name on a local street

TOWNSEND'S LIFEHOUSE DEBUT
Pete Townsend unveiled his LIFEHOUSE rock opera this past weekend in
London. The show is strikingly prophetic considering the original idea
came up 20 plus years ago. The idea is that people begin to live indoors
only experiencing everything through THE GRID, quite similar to today's
Internet and the only thing that gets them out is a performance by a LIVE
rock n roll band.
