HALLE BERRY HIT AND RUN
The actress aledgedly fled the scene of an accident in which both she and
the other driver were injured. The Los Angeles Sheriff's dept. says
Berry fled the scene in a car that ran a red light in a Feb. 23
hit-and-run crash on Sunset Boulevard. They're deciding whether to file
criminal charges. Berry suffered a cut to the forehead that required 15 to
20 stitches to close, while the woman driving the other car suffered a
broken wrist.
FREE WILLY ALMOST FREE
The whale popularized in the Free Willy movies and later freed from a
small enclosure in a Mexican Water Park, as the result of an international
campaign by children, may soon be heading to open waters. Keiko will be
released from an enclosure in Iceland to an enclosed bay where he will
learn to hunt and adjust to the marine environment before a final release
to the open sea.

PUFF DADDY PLEADS NOT
GUILTY
The rap star entered a not guilty plea to charges that he tried to bribe a
limo driver into supporting a false story on the night he was alledgedly
involved in a night club shooting, along with Jennifer Lopez.
CELINE'S SUING
The Canadian pop diva is suing The National Enquirer for $20 million for
falsely reporting she was pregnant with twins. Dion's press office
said; the ``false rumor'' and the article had ''caused her a lot of
stress.''
LETTERMAN BACK AT THE END
OF THE MONTH
David Letterman is now expected to return full time to The LAte SHow
around March 28th as he continues his recovery from quintuple by pass
surgery.

MILLIONAIRE MARRYING FALLOUT CONTINUES
Rick Rockwell from Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire says he was
devastated when Darva Conger the woman who married him on TV, disclosed to
him on their honeymoon cruise that she had no intention of spending the
rest of her life with him. Meanwhile Inside Edition citing military
records disclosed that Conger who identified herself on the show as a Gulf
War veteran, never actually set foot in the Middle East during the 1991
conflict.
SLOW DOWN SLOWHAND
Eric Clapton has been banned from driving in the UK for 6 months after
being pulled for speeding (45 in a 30). He still has to pay a $549 fine as
well.
EARTH, WIND AND FIRE LEADER ILL
Maurice White, founder,
producer and co-leader of the legendary R&B group Earth, Wind and
Fire, says
he is suffering from Parkinson's Disease.
He's 58 and has known about the disease for 8years.
PILLSBURY BAKEOFF
Bonnie Snowfield, of South Carolina scored a cool $1 Million for her entry
the sinful double confection dubbed ``Cream Cheese Brownie Pie.''
