OJ'S HOUSE BULLDOZED
The mansion where OJ Simpson lived has been razed by the property's new owner an
investment banker who bought the property for $3.9 Million, He says it was cheaper to
bulldoze the mansion and rebuild rather than try to refurbish what was already there.
LONG DISTANCE PACHYDERM LOVE
Indianapolis Zoo officials say Kubwa the elephant is pregnant. One difference in this
pregnancy. Kubwa was artificially inseminated long distance by Dale a 20 year old bull
from the Kansas City zoo. Don't buy any baby elephant clothes yet. Expect baby in about
two years the gestation period for elephants.
BLACK GOLD, TURKISH TEA
Uncle Jed would've been proud. There were some unexpected benefits to an earthquake in
Turkey last month. Local villagers drilling for water discovered a gusher of oil.
A HARD DAYS NIGHT RE-RELEASED
The Beatles A Hard Day's Night movie will be re-released to theaters next March. It's been
digitally remastered and is taken from a fully restored negative and will include never
seen before scenes.
BEACH WORKERS ON STRIKE...EXCEPT >>
Italian beach workers are on strike. About 200,000 employees of beach businesses along the
thousands of miles of beach front that line Italy's coast have gone on strike to protest a
new tourism bill. BUT that DOESN'T include umbrella workers. They're not joining the
strikers and WILL offer tourists some protection from the sun. (whew)
LEO DECAPRIO THE VIDEOS
The Titanic star will be profiled in two new videos. "Leomania-Decaprio's
Unauthorized story airs on the Family Channel August 16th then goes on sale on video
shelves soon thereafter. "Leo-An Unauthorized Biography" also goes on sale in
video stores soon.
