KING OF POP CASINO
Michael Jackson can't buy a hit record these days so he's moving into the business world.
He's announced a casino-entertainment project for Detroit. The Majestic Kingdom would
employ 6000 people if they can get the appropriate city licenses. Jackson is also invoved
in amusement park projects in Poland, Brazil and South Africa.
POSTAL MONKEY
Arthur Wareden was doing the rounds as a mail carrier when all of the sudden a chimp jumps
through the passanger window of his truck. Warden a little scared by the primate abandons
the vehicle with the monkey in pursuit. Herbie, 4 ft. 6 inches, grabbed the postal
carrier and visa versa. That's when Joyce Winston intervened, she owns Herbie and says he
doesn't realize he's a chimp.
MADONNA HITS THE STAGE
This time in a play. She'll play Maggie in Cat on a hot tin roof next summer in London.
WANTED: GIRLFRIEND
Why did you leave your last boyfriend ? What re you looking for in a man ? Those
are the questions being asked in an ad placed by a couple of roomates in Sioux City, Iowa
who say that they're tired of not finding dates the old fashioned way. Lance March and
Curtis Harper even have a girlfriend application for the ladies to fill out.

LENNON'S ART ON TOUR
Yoko Ono is defending her touring and selling of John Lennon's art against criticim from
Julian Lennon. The son of the late Beatle says selling his
art is 'not what he was about'. The tour of original lithographs and paintings continues
around the country. $400 to $12,000 for a Lennon masterpiece.
NICE BRACELETS
A Romanian man crossed at least TWO international borders in handcuffs before raising the
interest of police. The man rode a train through Germany or Switzerland before a couple of
Paris cops got suspicious of the man's "wrist jewelry". He was arrested for
entering the country illegally.
